Gail Hutchinson inherited the leadership of Powdercoat Services in
1997, following the death of her husband. With the help and
dedication of a variety of people, Gail has grown into her position
at the helm. The marketplace for manufacturers changed dramatically
after the ‘90’s, as did the competition. It has been a challenge to
respond to this market after 15 years of rapid growth. Gail’s
company stands in good shape to meet the future.
After completing the LA marathon in 1997, Gail’s fitness program
has fallen somewhat by the wayside. But, a new interest in
gardening—along with a life time of enjoying reading—keeps her busy
on the weekends. She is also busy missing her son, who is seeking
his destiny.

Steve Greenwood
was raised in India by an entrepreneurial family. He learned to
hunt as a young boy and this remains his favorite activity.
Steve came to Powdercoat Services through his hunting
interests. He owned his own arrow manufacturing company where
he learned a lot about sublimation. He continued his work in
sublimation through a large finishing company that did some
powder coating, but, was primarily an anodizer. He came to
Powdercoat in a sales capacity, but, quickly became the General
Manager.
Steve is ceaseless
in his desire to make Powdercoat Services a strong company
through maintaining high quality and customer service
standards. He continues to be strong in sales and will often be
the first person to call on your company.

Kay Monteleone
has been in the powder coating industry for almost 20 years.
Her background in manufacturing provides insight on new items
that arrive for powder coating along with unique opportunities
for turnkey applications.
Kay’s enthusiasm for the outdoors
has her always looking for ways to expand the possibilities for
powder coating in various environments.

Jerry Frost came to
Powdercoat Services with lots of experience in metal finishing,
having owned an anodizing company, and later a company that did
wet paint and powder coating. He works primarily in sales and
planning. While here at Powdercoat, he learned to do Power
Point Presentations, and has wowed us with his skills.
Out side of work,
Jerry does a variety of charitable activities. Never at a loss
for fun, Jerry can be found in Las Vegas, Laughlin, Pechanga or
the occasional golf course. Closer to home, he keeps us all in
doughnuts, popcorn, candy or whatever his whim of the day. We
complain but, the food always disappears.

As our outside sales
rep for over 16 years, Dan Baker is always finding
interesting and special projects. Dan has been here longer than
many and has a diversified client list. He often pursues
companies whose products he admires, primarily high quality, and
in a variety of fields. He is a gadget man, often showing us
the best of pens, knifes, flashlights and camping gear. He is
truly dedicated to bringing new projects to completion no matter
the hurtles.
Dan is a very
happy family man, surrounded by women—delightful daughters and a
charming wife.
In his spare time,
Dan enjoys seeking adventure in the family RV.

Customers will rarely
speak with Office Manager, Fabienne Paplia. She mostly handles
HR, Accounts Payable and all general financial information. She
backs up on the phones, so occasionally you’ll speak to her.
Fabienne gardens,
knits and sews—generally keeping herself quite busy as well. We
know when the gardening was good because she can’t quite stand
up straight.

Our most recent
keeper in the office is Annalee Binswanger, who joined us after some failed
attempts with temps. She is a graduate of California State
University, Fullerton, with a major in finance and an emphasis
in real estate. The timing was not good for her, but, seems to
be working well for us.
As a member of my
family, I cannot risk mentioning her outside activities except
that she has worked quite hard for the last many years. I
enjoy having her here and getting easy access to information
about her 4 siblings.
